In celebration of International Women’s Day join acclaimed author Bri Lee in conversation with Fiona Wright for this Q&A based on Beauty.

Find out more about Bri’s views on patriarchy, body image, womanhood, self worth, resilience and courage. Bri’s newest book Beauty explores the themes stereotypical views of women and the need to confront our obsession with physical perfection.

Bri Lee is a freelance writer and award-winning author. Her first book, Eggshell Skull, won six major awards and received several other listings.

Fiona Wright is a writer from Sydney. Her collection of essays Small Acts of Disappearance was published by Giramondo in 2015, and has been shortlisted for the 2016 Stella Prize and the NSW Premier’s Douglas Stewart Prize for non-fiction, and long-listed for the Kibble Award for Australian Women’s Life Writing.
